Hygrophila. C Stricta

(1 customer review)

Per Item: 1 bunch/3 stems 10cm+. These come a bit hairy looking because they’ve been grown out of water temporarily for production. This goes away once you submerse them in a couple of weeks. They are a bit delicate in the beginning due to how they’ve been grown but they will grow very fast once submersed in the aquarium. Considered an extremely easy aquarium plant to grow.

Seconds: Heading into winter months these may look a bit shabby or have the odd torn leaf. Selling old growth cheap to make room for new plants. snail and algae free!

Type: Stem

Care: Easy

Growth Rate: Fast

Lighting: Low to Very High

Propagation: Cuttings

Colour: Light Green. Can have red and pink highlights in extreme light conditions.

Latin Name: Hygrophila Corymbosa Stricta. Also known as ‘Cherry Leaf’

Additional Information: Hardy plant that will survive almost any environment. As long as it gets some light and a gravel substrate it will survive and look amazing. Also, this plant arrives looking somewhat different than in the photo. This is because it has been grown out of water as the growers are able to do this with high humidity and grow plants very quickly this way. Rest assured, it converts to its under water form in a few weeks, and when it does it will look exactly like the photo. It is considered one of the easiest aquatic plants to grow.

The lead of this plant looks amazing in the tank and with flow against it, very healthy but does take time to reach its water form so needs high light while changing over.
